Oakland City Council Approves South Campus Plan Allowing the School to Finally Break Ground

Students, parents and guardians, alumni, trustees, school employees, and community partners spoke in support of the South Campus and celebrated its approval, which represents a significant milestone for the school.

The latest South Campus renderings provide a sneak peek at how the indoor and outdoor spaces will be laid out when the project is complete. The plans include 25,000 square feet of new administrative and classroom space along with the eight-acre Educational Greenbelt which includes the Commons, gardens, forest clearings, a labyrinth and our native East Bay hillside habitat.
