Advocate for the Project

The City of Oakland has completed the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for the Head-Royce South Campus Plan (formally known as the “Head Royce School Planned Unit Development Permit (PUD) Project”). On March 6, the City of Oakland’s Landmarks Preservation Advisory Board voted 4-0 to give the Head-Royce South Campus Plan a positive recommendation and send the project to a hearing at the Planning Commission, which is scheduled for Wednesday, April 19. Now, we need your help to get us over the finish line.

The Planning Commission is tasked with certifying the FEIR and granting full project approval—this is the moment we’ve been working towards for so many years. It’s critical that commissioners hear from supporters about why this plan represents a transformative opportunity to create a cutting-edge instructional environment designed for the future of education, while also providing benefits to the surrounding neighborhood and the community at large.
